About Us

One Trader, First Fix to Final Finish

We are a self-employed multi-trader working out of Nailsea Park, taking on electrical work and building jobs across North Somerset and Bristol. Because one person looks after both sides, the wiring gets planned in with the building work from day one instead of being bolted on at the end.

One trader for the electrics and the building work, so there is one person to talk to from the first visit to the finished job.

Common Questions

FAQ

Yes. We are a multi-trader, so the same person can plan the electrics and carry out the building side of a job. That means no waiting for one trade to finish before the next turns up, and nobody blaming someone else when the two need to meet.

Yes, and it is one of the main reasons people use a multi-trader. First fix wiring goes in while the walls and ceilings are still open, then the sockets, switches and lights go on at second fix once the plastering is done. Planning both together saves chasing cables into finished walls later.

Before any wall is opened up we check what runs through it. Any cables are isolated and rerouted safely before the wall comes down, so the knock-through does not leave you with dead sockets or exposed wiring.

Many single storey rear extensions fall under permitted development, so they do not need full planning permission, but most extensions still need Building Regulations approval. Every property is different, so we will talk through what your job is likely to need when we come out to look at it.

We are based at Nailsea Park and work across North Somerset and Bristol, taking in towns such as Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare and Bath. If you are not sure whether we cover you, give us a ring and ask.
